Diana Roehl began a career in fitness in 1993 while working as the Human Resource Manager for a major US corporation.
In 1996 she was asked to teach a 30-minute abdominal class and was told that she could spend 15 minutes of the class doing stretches.
Those 15 minutes began a journey into yoga that continues to flourish today.
She checked out videos and bought books concerning stretching.
Most of the information she gathered pointed towards yoga.
She immediately started taking yoga from various teachers locally and throughout the country.
What she found out was that yoga is a 5,000 year-old discipline that increases flexibility, strength, promotes muscle repair and has a relaxation effect.
She was convinced!
Diana received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification through the Priya Yoga Teacher Training Program.
Prior to this she received the Astanga Yoga certifications from American Aerobic Association International and International Sports Medicine Association, along with AFAA and the YMCA certifications.
Diana is currently a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through the American Viniyoga Institute with Gary Kraftsow.
In addition she is also a certified Thai Yoga Therapy Practitioner through Saul David Raye's Ritman Healing Arts program.
Diana was the first to bring yoga into the Metropolitan YMCA in downtown Fort Worth.
She encouraged this interest and training to others at the "Y," and a strong program was created.
She has the ability to teach yoga to all fitness and age levels, having taught participants from age 6 to 70 years plus.
Yoga has made a big impact in Diana's life, and she feels it is a gift to share with anyone and everyone who is interested in improving the qualify of their life.
Diana is a native Texan and a graduate of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas.
She and her husband, Pete, have four children, Veleda, Christina, Alex, and Desmond.

Later Emily began teaching fitness classes as well as doing personal training while in graduate school. At that point she knew that she had found her niche. There has been no looking back and Emily states that she can't imagine herself in any other line of work.

Emily has been married to Matt Gilstrap since 1994 and they have been in Dallas since 2001. She reports to be thrilled to be a part of Diana's School of Yoga. Emily is a native of Kansas City, Kansas.
